LandschappenNL wanted some short video’s to promote their NatuurWerkdag (nature workday). They noticed that they kept appealing to people that are 70+ years of age. Their volunteers were aging, so they needed a boost of new, younger volunteers.
With these videos they wanted to appeal to people between 45 and 60 years old. People who, if they have kids, usually have older kids, which usually means they have more time to spend doing volunteer work.
I ended up making them four short 10 second videos in a square format, to use for promotion on Instagram and Facebook.
The challenge in this project was that LandschappenNL consists of a big group of landscape managing organizations. So the video’s had to also appeal to all of these organizations. The style for the event wasn’t set in stone, so for this project I chose to use organic shapes based on the branding for LandschappenNL, with the colors of the NatuurWerkdag branding.
